The seniors bounced back from their championship defeat at the weekend to record a comprehensive twelve point victory over Dunshaughlin in the ACFL Division 1 at home on Wednesday evening.
The visitors posted the first three points of the game but the team in sky blue overcame a low start to lead by 0-8 to 0-5 at the break.
Dunshaughlin could only manage a solitary second half point while Wayne McCarthy's goal seven minutes from the end put the icing on the cake of a fine performance by Des Lane's charges.
McCarthy finished with a personal tally of 1-10 (1-4 from play, five frees and a 45) while Hank Traynor, Niall McMahon, Seamus Kenny, Mickey Brennan and Shane O'Neill were others who particularly caught the eye for the winners.
