The thirds were comprehensively defeated in the first round of the B FL Division 4 competition away to Donaghmore/Ashbourne on Sunday.
The hosts inflicted most of the damage in the first half when they were wind assisted and led by 1-12 to 0-1 at the interval.
Stephen O'Reilly and Andrew Burlingham scored two consolation second half goals.
