      Tuesday night saw Simonstown and Seneschalstwon  second teams do battle in Seneschalstwon in even worse condition than on Monday night for Senior teams.

   Rian Alder opened  the scoring with a point from a free in fifth minute but  the hosts drew level in thirteenth.  Colin Wickham strode forward from midfield to put the visitors 0—2  to 0—1 up. Eoin Keane pointed and Rian Alder converted a two point free  to put Simons 0--5 to 0--2 ahead . The home team got three on the trot to level at 0—5 to 0—5 with two first half minutes to play.Cian Newman then put the Navan men 0--6 to 0—5 up on the stroke of half time.

      Seneschalstown with more favourable wind and rain conditions  early in second half converting 2 x 2point frees and another  0--1f  to put them  0--11 to 0--6 in front with ten played..Fionn O Hanluain  from play and the host from play made 0—12 to 0—7 with twelve minutes to play.The Navan men rallied and Conor Harding ,Fionn O Hanluain and the returning Nathan O Brien all raised white flags to complete the scoring. Resolute defending and shortage of time saw Sensechalstown hold on to win o—12  to 0--10.
